I have tried the package thing and everytime I get not such package. I am a newbie and don't understand Linux or Ubuntu language. Hopefully if I don't find a package someone there will put it into the right package. I don't think there is a computertemp package per se. I also thought that the person from Protonic knows much more about this thing than I do. That's why I went to him for help and included his response in the message. He helps people with these kinds of things more than I. Jim
