Binary package hint: deluge-torrent
This MAY be related to bug #139789 (which reported uPNP not working, but not
crashes in deluge-0.5.4.1-1ubuntu2).
Since this bug is a crash (rather than an inactive feature that should be
active), I reported it as a separate bug.
First, here is my platform (from `uname -a`):

This bug is for the package:
deluge-0.5.4.1-1ubuntu3 (gutsy) universe
`deluge --version` reports:
0.5.4.1
Steps to reproduce:
run `deluge`
open the "Preferences" section (dialog box)
go to the "Network" tab
check "uPnP" under "Network Extras"
click "OK"
completely exit deluge by going to the "File" menu, and selecting "Quit"
run `deluge` again -- crash should occur now!
This problem is consistently reproducable on my PC.
Changing this setting changes the value of some lines in the
~/.config/deluge/prefs.state file:

Old lines:
sS'use_upnp'
p25
I00

New lines:
sS'use_upnp'
p25
I01
---
By changing these lines back to the original values (thus, disabling uPnP), I
can run deluge again.
Here is the console output when I launch deluge without uPnP:

I would provide more logging or debugging info, but I cannot find any.

I hope this helps!
BTW, I have not found ANY torrent client with working uPnP in Ubuntu,
including Bittornado, which I am certain has uPnP support in Windows.
In my opinion, this is NOT a security bug, but is security related just
in the very nature of the fact that uPnP is security related.
