Please backport libgpod >=0.6.0 (package name: libgpod3) from Hardy to
Gutsy.
Pre-0.6.0 versions does NOT support the new iPod Classic and Nanos released in
September 2007, and those devices are reaaaally popular as you probably know.
Therefore, I think it would be a pretty good idea to backport that library to
Gutsy - I know of a few people who gave up using Ubuntu completely as
synchronizing with their iPods didn't work (libgpod <0.6.0 corrupts the iPod
database and requires a reformat). And manual compiling isn't very newbie
friendly...
