I also have problems to get Atheros Wireless AR5007EG working on my Ubuntu Gutsy 64bit. I don't know if it's the same problem. Anyway I saw that there are working wireless driver (or patch) both with ndiswrapper (net5211.inf) or with madwifi: anyway these solutions only works on 32 bit systems.
My problem is: I can see wireless networks, I can select them to connect, but no success. I also tried to install wicd instead of Ubuntu Network-manager. Still no luck. If you say me how to connect manually, I can try to see if I can connect. Please tell me if it's a duplicate or if I have to open another bug report. I'm not 100% sure it is the same problem.
