In the time I worked in ICT project, we took responsibility for the
system we delivered and the compatibility between the main parts, like
the file system used by the OS. We would contact the sub-contractor and
distribute the update ourselves, we did not tell our users to solve the
problem themselves. 

Going with the last version of kernel, makes Ubuntu looses its most
most important advantage: "reliability". 

I will go back to Ubuntu 24.04 LTS as Host OS.
