Hi Carl-Christian,
Thank you for the detailed report — it's clear and well-documented. The
hardware specs, reproduction steps, and dmesg output give a solid
starting point.
One thing I need before this can move forward: your kernel version
(6.17.0-1012.12) is from February, and there have been 8 point updates
since then — the latest in noble-updates is 6.17.0-1020.20. Could you
please update to that version and retest?
Then reboot and check if the camera still works only once after boot.
Please let me know whether it's fixed on the newer kernel or if the
issue persists.
If it's fixed, this may have been addressed in a recent patch and I'll
mark the bug accordingly. If it persists, I can escalate it for source
investigation.
Thanks again for the thorough report!
