Additional observation:

Yesterday, after resetting the screenshot-related GNOME settings and
keybindings, the default screenshot shortcuts were temporarily working
again.

At that point, the standard combinations such as:

* Print
* Shift+Print
* Alt+Print
* Ctrl+Print

were functioning again as expected.

However, after a reboot, the problem returned completely.

Now none of the default screenshot shortcuts work anymore.

This suggests that the issue is not just a broken custom keybinding
configuration, because the defaults could temporarily be restored, but
the functionality does not persist across reboots.

The problem therefore appears to be deeper within the GNOME/Wayland
screenshot or shortcut handling stack.
