Additional observation: Yesterday, after resetting the screenshot-related GNOME settings and keybindings, the default screenshot shortcuts were temporarily working again.
At that point, the standard combinations such as: * Print * Shift+Print * Alt+Print * Ctrl+Print were functioning again as expected. However, after a reboot, the problem returned completely. Now none of the default screenshot shortcuts work anymore. This suggests that the issue is not just a broken custom keybinding configuration, because the defaults could temporarily be restored, but the functionality does not persist across reboots. The problem therefore appears to be deeper within the GNOME/Wayland screenshot or shortcut handling stack. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2151225 Title: Screenshot (Print) broken on Wayland: no file saved / UI hangs / selection partially works To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/2151225/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
