Still affected on kernel 7.0.0-10-generic (Ubuntu 26.04), which is the
latest available from the Ubuntu repositories. No kernel updates
available via apt.

Hardware: Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 15ABR8 (82XM), AMD Ryzen 7 7730U,
AMD Renoir/Cezanne HDMI/DP Audio Controller

dmesg:
amdgpu 0000:04:00.0: [drm] DP-HDMI FRL PCON supported
amdgpu 0000:04:00.0: [drm] Failed to setup vendor infoframe on connector
HDMI-A-1: -22

pactl list sinks short:

174 alsa_output.pci-0000_04_00.1.hdmi-stereo-extra1 PipeWire s32le 2ch
48000Hz RUNNING

ALSA layer works (speaker-test directly produces sound), but
PipeWire/WirePlumber fails to route audio through the HDMI sink.
Sink shows RUNNING, volume at 100%, not muted, but no audio output.

This was also reported separately as bug #2151748, which was marked as a
duplicate of this bug.
