>@pboushy Hi Philip, would you be able to verify that 2.75.2 fixes the
issue?
Hi Andreas & Katie, Before verifying the package in -proposed, I
attempted to reproduce the failure case using the stable packages and
was unable to reproduce a failure. Looking at the Snap package showed
that Snap 2.75.2 was *already* installed despite not doing anything in
order to enabled -proposed. Enabling -proposed and then looking at the
metadata shows that the APT package is on the old version but the actual
Snap package is already 2.75.2:
wtcline@wtcline-desk26:~$ apt-cache policy snapd
snapd:
Installed: 2.74.1+ubuntu26.04.4
Candidate: 2.74.1+ubuntu26.04.4
Version table:
2.75.2+ubuntu26.04.2 100

*** 2.74.1+ubuntu26.04.4 500

wtcline@wtcline-desk26:~$ snap --version
snap 2.75.2
snapd 2.75.2
series 16
ubuntu 26.04
kernel 7.0.0-15-generic
architecture amd64
Given Snap's distribution mechanism, I'm not sure what the purpose of
-proposed is in this case. However, I did confirm on Ubuntu 26.04,
25.10, 24.04, and 22.04 that the issue appears to be fixed.
