Tested with linux kernel version 7.0.0-17-generic from -proposed on Ubuntu 26.04.
Hardware: AMD Ryzen 5 9600X, AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT. Testing performed: - Installed the kernel from -proposed and rebooted into 7.0.0-17-generic. - Used the system normally a long session monitoring for mouse cursor freezes and audio dropouts, including play music in Spotify, play games in Steam, navigation in Firefox and general desktop usage. - The micro-stutters (~0.5s cursor freezes) and audio cutouts previously observed with 7.0.0-14-generic / 7.0.0-15-generic no longer reproduce. The bug no longer reproduces. System is stable after the update. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2149877 Title: Intermittent micro‑stutters affecting mouse and audio after updating to Linux 7.0.0‑14‑generic on AMD system To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2149877/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
