Public bug reported:

1) Ubuntu 26.04
2) unknown
3) Successful boot to Desktop.
4) System has hard drive disconnected. System does not have internet connection.
I’m booting Ubuntu 26.04 from a Sandisk flash drive. The graphical boot screen
is displayed 3mins and 23 seconds after selecting the Try or Install Ubuntu
menu option. After 5 minutes, I press the ESC key. Maybe the text boot screen
could automatically be displayed if the graphical boot screen has been loading
for an excessive amount of time.

Second attempt. I replace —-quiet splash in the grub menu with —-debug.

Is the boot process unable to continue because it can not get access to
the internet?
