It appears in Ubuntu 26.04 the package `libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0` was renamed to `libgdk-pixbuf-2.0-0`. I discovered this while troubleshooting a different piece of software (the minecraft-launcher), and managed to work around it by manually unpacking the deb file and modifying the control file to use the updated package name before repacking it.
I think to temporarily resolve this issue for dependent software (until they transition their dependencies to match the new package name) there needs to be a meta package added with the name `libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0` that depends on the new package `libgdk-pixbuf-2.0-0`. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2138580 Title: I am running Ubuntu.
