Problem persisted (though I'm now on latest stable of Debian), but AI
helped me find a solution:
I disabled Intel Panel Self Refresh (PSR) by:
nano /etc/default/grub
adding i915.enable_psr=0 as so:
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="i915.enable_psr=0"
update-grub
The problem haven't been present since this. If it would show up again
I'll post back.
