Public bug reported:
ubuntu desktop cannot find settings
this is after an upgrade to most current. Desktop program ikons are only
available when clicking on hotlink in upper right. The strip of them is gone.
Figured a configuration would be seen in settings but settings can't be found,
and refers to sending a bug report.
