Public bug reported:
The internal microphone on the Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5 14ALC7 (DMI product
name: 82R9) does not work on Linux. No DMIC capture device appears in
arecord -l. Only the ALC257 analog capture device is listed, which
records silence or static.
The microphone works correctly on Windows, confirming this is a
driver/kernel issue not a hardware defect.
Root cause: The snd_rn_pci_acp3x module loads and enables the ACP device
(04:00.5) but does not initialize a DMIC capture device because the DMI
product name 82R9 is not present in the kernel's ACP3x quirks table.
