Public bug reported: The gpib kernel driver, promoted in 6.19 (previously it was in the staging area) was included in Ubuntu mainline v6.19-rc5, but not in v6.19-rc8 onward.
https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/stable/linux.git/tree/drivers/gpib?h=v6.19.6 Having the kernel driver makes it easier for the user to use the GPIB library to control GPIB devices. Without the driver, a DKMS module is required to build and install the driver which is not ideal.
