Public bug reported:

volume keys (F2/F3) occasionally send a stuck key-down event to X11 without a
corresponding key-up, causing volume to run to max/min until the key is pressed
again.
hardware: Lenovo ThinkBook 16 G9 AHP (21UT)
Kernel versions affected: 6.17.0-23 and 6.17.0-29
evtest and acpi_listen both show clean key-down/key-up events, so the bug seems
to be in the X11 input layer.

No LSB modules are available.
Description: Linux Mint 22.3
Release: 22.3
