Public bug reported:

Internal speakers are silent on Lenovo ThinkPad X14 Gen 1 2026 / Panther
Lake.

Hardware:
- Model: Lenovo ThinkPad X14 Gen 1 2026
- Platform: Intel Panther Lake
- Audio controller: Intel Panther Lake audio controller [8086:e428]
- Codec: Realtek ALC257
- Expected subsystem ID: 17aa:513d
- Detected/fallback subsystem ID: 17aa:0000
- BIOS: R39ET25W 1.07
- Kernel: 7.0.0-15-generic x86_64

Problem:
The internal speakers produce no sound. The audio device is detected, but the
machine appears to fall back from Lenovo-specific SSID 17aa:513d to generic
17aa:0000. This looks like a missing Lenovo-specific ALC257 quirk / pin
configuration issue.

Expected result:
Internal speakers should output sound normally.

Actual result:
Internal speakers are silent.

Notes:
This issue has also been reported upstream:
https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=221518

Please let me know if additional dmesg logs, codec dumps, or hda-verb
tests are needed.

Additional status:
- Bluetooth audio: works
- HDMI/DP audio: works
- Headphones: works
- Internal microphone: works
- Internal speakers work in Windows: untested
