Public bug reported:
After some uptime or maybe after suspend Gnome Overview search does not
show any of installed applications. It does not matter from which
source the app was installed, or if the .desktop file is system or local
- search returns no apps at all.
The issue can be temporarily fixed by restarting the session or
rebooting the computer, but after some time all apps are missing again.
Description: Ubuntu 26.04 LTS
Release: 26.04
gnome-shell: 50.1-0ubuntu1
expected behavior: Press Super key, type any app name, e.g., 'nautilus' -
should return installed application on top.
current behavior: The search returns files, characters, software suggestions
but none of the installed app.
