Note: I cannot provide about:memory output as I removed the snap Firefox immediately after the freeze to restore system stability. Reinstalling it just to capture about:memory would require reproducing the multi-hour leak conditions and risking another full system freeze.
The kernel-side data (shmem-rss, cgroup attribution, OOM dump) is attached. If a developer can confirm this is reproducible on their end with snap Firefox on Ubuntu 26.04 + NVIDIA + Wayland, they would be better positioned to capture about:memory before the freeze becomes total. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2152836 Title: Snap Firefox RDD process leaks shmem-rss until OOM, system freeze with SysRq unresponsive To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/firefox/+bug/2152836/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
