Public bug reported:

ThinkPad P16s Gen 4 (21QRCTO1WW), Ubuntu 24.04, kernel 6.17.0-1023-oem
with oem-sutton-daiwa-meta.

The speaker amplifier does not mute when headphones are connected,
causing audible white noise from speakers during silence in calls even when
audio output is routed to headphones.

Root cause: SSID 17aa:512f (ALC257) is not in patch_realtek.c,
so the driver falls back to a generic fixup with no auto-mute logic.

Evidence from dmesg:
  snd_hda_codec_alc269 hdaudioC1D0: ALC257: picked fixup for PCI SSID 17aa:0000

Codec info:
  Vendor Id: 0x10ec0257
  Subsystem Id: 0x17aa512f

** Affects: linux-oem-6.17 (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
