Public bug reported:
After hours of lockscreen and typing first character of pw to unlock,
nVidia gpu froze (with 1 placeholder character shown).
First occurrence, unknown whether reproducible. A "echo t | sudo tee
/proc/sysrq-trigger" done, that part not yet attached / relevance not
analyzed.
Bug reporting guidelines do not appear to mention Wayland + nVidia +
power management scenarios. Rebooting and adding more details on request
(if still available) or if this gets reproduced.
P.S. the gpu on SR-IOV passthrough, preferring untainted host kernel.
