I wasn't able to reproduce this during a "normal" upgrade, e.g., apt -y full-upgrade \ localsearch-extractor-office \ localsearch-extractor-ffmpeg \ localsearch-extractor-iso
But I did after holding tracker-extract. Maybe this relates to your "su pension", although not sure what you meant by that exactly, # apt-mark hold tracker-extract tracker-extract set on hold. # apt -y install localsearch-extractor-office ... Unpacking localsearch-extractor-office (3.11.0-1ubuntu1) ... dpkg: error processing archive /var/cache/apt/archives/localsearch-extractor-office_3.11.0-1ubuntu1_amd64.deb (--unpack): trying to overwrite '/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/localsearch-3.0/extract-modules/libextract-epub.so', which is also in package tracker-extract (3.8.2-4ubuntu2.1) ... Looks like the bug is that the new subpackages should *also* have Breaks/Replaces on the older tracker-extract, in addition to the new localsearch package. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2153123 Title: localsearch-extractor To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/localsearch/+bug/2153123/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
