Public bug reported:

This bug affects kernels at least from jammy to now. This specific bug
report is from a resolute LXC vm run on an amd64 host with Ubuntu 24.04
installed.

[How to reproduce]
1. $ lxc launch ubuntu:26.04 resolute --vm
2. $ lxc exec resolute -- add-apt-repository ppa:colin-king/stress-ng
3. $ lxc exec resolute -- apt install stress-ng
4. $ lxc exec resolute -- stress-ng --apparmor 0 --timeout 30 --oom-avoid-bytes
10% --skip-silent --verbose

The behaviour differs occasionally, sometimes the device/vm will restart
and sometimes the device is still responsive but has limited
functionality.

This is also reproducible on an nvidia jetson orin nano although it
doesn't use the generic kernel directly.
