Public bug reported:
After a dist-upgrade from Kubuntu 25.10 to 26.04 my desktop icons aren't sncing
with the contents of my ~/Desktop folder.
When creating a new file in this folder it's not shown on my desktop.
When i change my desktop settings to desktop-view and then back to folder-view,
the new contents are shown.
I did not delete my ~/.config folder before the dist-upgrade.
