Public bug reported:

This package ships at least one init script in /etc/init.d that needs to be
migrated to a systemd service.

Up to and including Ubuntu 26.04 LTS, the systemd package shipped
systemd-sysv-generator which generated
basic systemd services from System V scripts on the fly. This generator was
removed from upstream systemd
in version v260, and will not be shipped in Ubuntu 26.10.
