The --group-directories-first sorting issue is known and was reported
and fixed upstream: https://github.com/uutils/coreutils/issues/11997

LC_ALL=C /usr/bin/ls -hlF however seems to work fine for me and I can't
find other bug reports on Github for these flags. Could you give some
concrete examples of the incorrect sort order?
