The --group-directories-first sorting issue is known and was reported and fixed upstream: https://github.com/uutils/coreutils/issues/11997
LC_ALL=C /usr/bin/ls -hlF however seems to work fine for me and I can't find other bug reports on Github for these flags. Could you give some concrete examples of the incorrect sort order? ** Bug watch added: github.com/uutils/coreutils/issues #11997 https://github.com/uutils/coreutils/issues/11997 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2154042 Title: ls: files are not sorted in alphabetical order by default To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/rust-coreutils/+bug/2154042/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
