Public bug reported:
When I remove the current background from the file system, the desktop
gnome-background-properties dialog will freeze forever.
A restart of the computer does not fix the problem.
To reproduce the bug:
1. copy a wallpaper of your choice to /usr/share/backgrounds/:
sudo cp mybackground.png /usr/share/backgrounds/mybackground.png
2. set /usr/share/backgrounds/mybackground.png to the current background
3. restart linux
4. sudo rm /usr/share/backgrounds/mybackground.png
5. open the gnome-background-properties and try to do something.
