The verification results for Jammy (walinuxagent version 2.15.0.1-0ubuntu1~22.04.1) are in, and found no issues with any tests. Microsoft conducted end to end tests on arm64 and amd64 server images with this proposed package. Similar to the aforementioned verifications, they tested with Pro FIPS enabled as well, and all tests passed and no regressions were found. Their tests focus on walinuxagent functionality and extension compatibility.
Likewise, we ran our CPC Cloud Test Framework on a server, minimal, FIPS, and FDE image. The server and minimal were run over the same tests and SKUs as the Questing and Noble verifications (4 test-suites on 9 AMD64 SKUs and 6 ARM64 SKUs). There were no failures in our matrix. The FDE image was tested specifically on CVM hardware (Testing Intel TDX on one and SEV-SNP on the other). All tests came back positive with no issues at all. The FIPS image ran the same tests with the addition of a FIPS specific test suite. One test failed (as expected) due to the presence of a proposed package. Otherwise, all tests passed as expected and there are no issues to report. Accordingly, this fixes the bug as expected with no reported or detected regressions. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2141533 Title: [SRU] Upgrade to v2.15.0.1 on Resolute (26.04) / Q / N / J To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/walinuxagent/+bug/2141533/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
