Public bug reported:
In the Ubuntu settings (display devices) I can set the screen scaling with a
drop-down menu. However, it only shows me the first digit in the menu and three
points.
Steps to reproduce:
- Use a 4K monitor
- Open the settings Display devices.
- Set the resolution 3840x2160 or 2880x1620
- Click on the scaling drop-down menu.
What I expect to happen: I see
100%
125%
133%
etc.
What happens instead: I see
1...
1...
1...
etc.
Clarification:
The bug occurs when I get one of the two above. Set resolutions, but not with
all other resolutions. Only the current setting in the dialog counts, not the
actual resolution that is currently active. So even before I click on "Adopt",
the display of the scale changes.
