Update: I installed and manually tested kernel 6.8.0-124-generic. Result: - 6.8.0-111-generic: works normally - 6.8.0-117-generic: GDM/GNOME unusable with NVIDIA 470 / GeForce GT 640 - 6.8.0-124-generic: works normally
