I was lucky to come across this report after struggling with the
"instabilities" on my AMD system for some time. The best possible way to
test the patch mentioned in #10 as of right now is:

- enable resolute-proposed:
https://documentation.ubuntu.com/project/SRU/reference/enable-proposed/
- install the kernel from -proposed, e.g. sudo apt install -t resolute-proposed
linux-generic-hwe-26.04 (or linux-generic depending on the initial installation)
- reboot into 7.0.0-26

The -26 has been published for resolute-proposed on June 3rd, and it has
the following in the changelog.

  * Resolute update: v7.0.1 upstream stable release (LP: #2150547)
    ...
    - clockevents: Add missing resets of the next_event_forced flag
    - Linux 7.0.1

The patch is also associated with CVE-2026-31574 with Medium priority.
