libxext-dev is still required to build xsel.
Stefan, I uploaded your merge. I modified your changelog entry a bit in
order to align "Make distclean not ignore errors" to "Merge from Debian
unstable" since it is a change you introduced in this revision and did
not come from a previous one. Thanks :)
