Since you're on Resolute (26.04), we'll have to patch the fix into the current (as of resolute) openssh version. For Stonking (26.10), I'm already merging the upstream openssh changes, so this won't need an explicit patch after that.
We need the changes to land in Stonking before they can land in Resolute, but for now, I have made a test PPA containing the changes. In the meantime, would you be willing to test it to see if they fix the problem in your environment?
