Hi Simon,

the issue you mentioned above:

>Hey there! I know the cause of this issue. The distributed version of
fwupd on Ubuntu has a patch to verify the recovery key from snapd if it
detects an FDE system...

is there any other bug id to track?

I have Ubuntu 24.04.4, FDE (but no Windows partition) and

$ fwupdmgr --version
compile info.libusb 1.0.27
compile com.hughsie.libxmlb 0.3.24
compile com.hughsie.libjcat 0.2.3
compile org.freedesktop.fwupd 2.0.20
runtime org.freedesktop.fwupd-efi 1.4
runtime com.hughsie.libxmlb 0.3.24
runtime com.hughsie.libjcat 0.2.3
runtime org.kernel 6.17.0-22-generic
runtime org.freedesktop.fwupd 2.0.20

when I try to upgrade, I have got this error:
Please enter your volume recovery key:
*****-*****-*****-*****-*****-*****-*****-*****
WARNING: The recovery key entered is invalid, please try again.

Is this related ?
