The reason Xorg is showing high cpu usage is merely because firefox
appears to be stuck in a select loop calling an Xorg routine (probably
continually redrawing a blank screen), so this really isn't an Xorg bug.
Closing the xorg component.
Fwiw, I also tested this in firefox-3.0, and it showed similar behavior,
except the CPU load maxed at 20% rather than 50%.
