New finding regarding the issue: The audio loss and video freeze happen dynamically when OBS Studio is launched after the game is already running with the obs-pipewire-audio-capture plugin active. If OBS with the plugin is started: System audio cuts out immediately, and video freezes. If OBS is closed: Audio and video instantly recover and work normally. If the plugin is disabled inside OBS: The issue does not occur at all.
This confirms a dynamic graph/stream lockup where creating new virtual streams on top of an already running game and a Teams call causes a buffer stall. Closing the streams immediately resolves the deadlock. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2152817 Title: PipeWire/WirePlumber deadlock on Ubuntu 26.04 (Unity) when using Steam + MS Teams To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pipewire/+bug/2152817/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
