I am also affected by this bug. Tried booting my VM today and saw that
my GPU was together with many other devices in IOMMU group 0 instead of
its own group, which means I cannot PCI passthrough the GPU and start
the VM.

System info
Motherboard: ASUS PRIME X399-A
CPU: AMD Ryzen Threadripper 2950X
GPUs: NVIDIA GTX 1070 Ti + NVIDIA RTX 2080 (only the 1070 Ti is being passed 
through, along with its audio device)
OS: Kubuntu 24.04.4 LTS
