Public bug reported:
Using davfs2 1.7.2-1 on resolute amd64
The source manpage contains placeholders that some build mechanism shall
replace with
real values. This is not the case. the mount.davfs.8 man page is full of
placeholders
@PROGRAM_NAME@, @PACKAGE@, @PACKAGE@/@SECRETSFILE@ SYS_CONF_DIR@/@CONFIGFILE@
and so
on. I can guess what @PROGRAM_NAME@ is but I remain clueless at what the
configuration
files could be.
What I expect in the manual is that the placeholders are replaced with real
values
that are used on the distribution I use, so that it provides useful
informations.
Here are some excerpts of what I get when I run "man mount.davfs":
> @PROGRAM_NAME@(8) System Manager's Manual @PROGRAM_NAME@(8)
>
> NAME
> @PROGRAM_NAME@ - Mount a WebDAV resource as @PACKAGE@ file
> system
>
> SYNOPSIS
> @PROGRAM_NAME@ [-h | --help] [-V | --version]
> mount {dir | webdavserver}
>
> SYNOPSIS (root only)

> DESCRIPTION
