Public bug reported: I checked whether this needed to be a merge, but I don't think the Ubuntu delta needs to be carried anymore.
The current Ubuntu delta was mainly: * skipping some ANSI/Rich styling tests that need a TTY in d/rules (LP: #2145141) I tested Debian cmd2 4.0.0+ds-2 without carrying that Ubuntu change, and the tests are passing. This sync should also fix LP: #2158492, because the newer Debian/upstream version no longer has the obsolete Rich Text.from_ansi workaround/test that failed with rich 15. The package builds successfully in a PPA: https://launchpad.net/~zineb/+archive/ubuntu/cmd2-sync Basic and all-proposed autopkgtests pass on all architectures: amd64, arm64, armhf, i386, ppc64el, riscv64, and s390x ** Affects: cmd2 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Assignee: Zineb Zaadoud (zineb) Status: In Progress ** Tags: dcr-sync ** Tags added: dcr-sync -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2159027 Title: Sync cmd2 4.0.0+ds-2 from Debian unstable To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cmd2/+bug/2159027/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
