It's been 51 days. The importance was assessed as "Low" despite this problem happening on v24.04 - an LTS version, yet there's still no reported assignment and worse, it's now reported as "Invalid" despite being a real issue causing accelerated degradation of hardware. I went to bed with a properly darkened screen last night, this morning I woke up to find a web browser wanted updating and in addition to the hardware hit, it was causing the dial on the power meter to spin faster too.
