This bug was fixed in the package wireguard - 1.0.20260223-1ubuntu1

---------------
wireguard (1.0.20260223-1ubuntu1) stonking; urgency=medium

  * Merge with Debian unstable. (LP: #2156485)
  * Remaining changes:
    - Drop depends on wireguard-modules (always built-in), wireguard-dkms
      (removed from the archive). This makes wireguard package sort of
      redundant. LP #2008086
  * Dropped changes:
    - Upstream fix to handle resolvconf migration more gracefully (LP #2119260):
      + d/p/0005-wg-quick-linux-deal-with-resolvconf-migration-more-g.patch
      + Fixed upstream

wireguard (1.0.20260223-1) unstable; urgency=medium

  * New upstream release.
  * d/control: Drop 'priority' and R³, set by default.
  * d/watch: Convert to version 5.
  * Update Standards-Version to 4.7.4.
