From the discussion in https://github.com/NetworkConfiguration/dhcpcd/issues/616: DHCPv6 is just an address, there is no prefix. DHCP IA_NA always provides a /128 address (see RFC 9915, Section 21.6).
So IPV6NETMASK=128 is correct, but better remove the IPV6NETMASK setting to avoid confusion. ** Bug watch added: github.com/NetworkConfiguration/dhcpcd/issues #616 https://github.com/NetworkConfiguration/dhcpcd/issues/616 ** Changed in: dhcpcd (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2154301 Title: dhcpcd initramfs hook hardcodes IPV6NETMASK to 128 for IPv6 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/dhcpcd/+bug/2154301/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
