Confirmed: bug #2158614 matches my symptoms exactly. Same ring timeout pattern (gfx_0.1.0), same gnome-shell victim, same MODE2 reset. Hardware differs (Rembrandt/GFX10.3 vs Granite Ridge) but failure sequence is identical. Marked myself as affected on #2158614. Regarding the mainline kernel test: this is a production machine used for work and teaching; I prefer not to run an unsupported kernel. The coredump attached to this report should provide sufficient data for kernel team analysis.
