New image packed, removed existing WSL instances, cleaned up Windows Terminal profiles and confirmed no traces of Ubuntu themes anymore before registering a new WSL instance from the modified image. After completing set up and closing the Windows Terminal, **launching the new instance from the terminal drop down** effectively loaded the new theme, with the Ubuntu Sans Mono font and the updated colors.
