** Description changed:
- Hard kernel panic in __queue_work+0x39/0xc0 triggered reproducibly by opening

delayed_work_timer_fn → __queue_work). Reproduced on Firefox and Brave, also
during Cisco Packet Tracer installation. Kernel 7.0.0-1008-oem, Ubuntu 26.04
LTS, HP EliteBook 860 16" G10. "when i try to download soemthing from any

+ JUL 17 2026 :
+ Follow-up: Crashes appear intermittent, tied to operation size. Small file
saves (images) often complete; large downloads (NetAcad labs ~100MB+)
consistently trigger system panic during transfer. Download shows incomplete in
browser, but file exists on disk after reboot — suggests crash occurs mid-write
after data is already flushed.
