With the latest 7.0 kernel (installed yesterday 2026-Jul-18), my laptop
(Dell E7250) screen does not power back on after a sleep. Trying to
switch to a text console with Ctrl-Alt-F3 does not work either. The only
way I have been able to get the screen to come back is with a hard
reboot. I did not have this problem with the previous 6.x kernel.
