Public bug reported:

After upgrading Ubuntu 22.04 to 24.04, the integrated Intel MIPI/IPU6
camera is detected but produces completely black frames.

Hardware:
Dell Latitude 7450
BIOS 1.22.3
Kernel 6.17.0-1028-oem

Relevant kernel errors:

int3472-discrete INT3472:01: cannot find GPIO chip INTC10D1:00, deferring
int3472-discrete INT3472:0c: cannot find GPIO chip INTC10D1:00, deferring

The matching OEM packages are installed:
- linux-image-6.17.0-1028-oem
- linux-modules-ipu6-6.17.0-1028-oem
- linux-modules-usbio-6.17.0-1028-oem
- libcamhal-ipu6epmtl
- gstreamer1.0-icamera
- v4l2-relayd
- v4l2loopback-dkms

The DKMS USBIO package was removed so the system now uses:
- /lib/modules/6.17.0-1028-oem/ubuntu/usbio/usbio.ko.zst
- /lib/modules/6.17.0-1028-oem/ubuntu/usbio/i2c-usbio.ko.zst
- /lib/modules/6.17.0-1028-oem/ubuntu/usbio/gpio-usbio.ko.zst

The USBIO GPIO chip registers with the label:
usbio.usbio-gpio.0

However, int3472-discrete searches for:
INTC10D1:00

The virtual /dev/video0 device works and streams YUYV 1280x720, but all
captured frames are completely black:
YMIN=0
YAVG=0
YMAX=0

This appears to be an INT3472 / USBIO GPIO naming or dependency problem
preventing the OV02E10 sensor from initializing.
