 There is no nvidia-535 modules available for the new 7.0 kernel. I don't
know why that is. It may be because NVidia ended support for 535 last
month. In that case, you may have to switch to nvidia-580 driver.

** Package changed: ubuntu => linux-restricted-modules-hwe-7.0 (Ubuntu)

** Changed in: linux-restricted-modules-hwe-7.0 (Ubuntu)

Title:
  Nvidia-535 modules are missing for kernel  HWE 7.0

Status in linux-restricted-modules-hwe-7.0 package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  I don't know anything whatsoever about bugs or programming, just want to use
my Ubuntu installation as I have been using it for more than 6 months daily,
prior tot the problem I encountered now: resolution not correct (after more
than 6 months of use in exactly the same configuration), dispplay is not
regognised, only a generic display. This cannnot be ajusted in teh setting
unfortunately.
  Very, very technical all of this, just want it to be known that there seems
to be an issue with the display recognition all of a sudden without any change
whatsoever.
