Hi palalansouki, This is currently stuck on upstream development and so there is not much to be done from our end with just an RFC patchset. As of right now, the recourse would be to wait for a subsequent version of these changes to be accepted upstream, at that point it could be accepted and your bug fixed.
There is always the Ubuntu Concept - X Elite [1] for better Snapdragon support, although I'm unsure if this fix is included there or not.
